eBuukuu produces digital educational materials that stimulate students’ curiosity while helping them to learn important content and creative competencies. Our interactive applications are largely aimed at advanced high school students. Most of our apps use historical and social studies approaches to teach about the past, including critical thinking skills, methodology, professional ethics, and the usable past.
eBuukuu’s materials are story-based, multimedia, and rich in connections to the past. They center around a story, supported by original documents and sources of many types, as well as instructional materials, including questions, exercises, and tools for teacher guidance and feedback to students.
eBuukuu’s web platform enables teachers and schools to purchase our materials or designate them for direct student purchase. Materials are licensed for student or teacher use, usually on a semester basis. If you are a teacher, interested in using one of our products in your classroom, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
DEVELOPING A NEW APP
eBuukuu develops projects based either on an author’s proposal or by commissioning an author to work with specific historical materials or issues, sometimes leveraging existing historical works. eBuukuu connects authors with other agents of the production process, including programmers, illustrators, and teachers. We work with authors to ensure that materials meet the needs of students and teachers, including applicable curriculum requirements. If you are interested in developing a story, email us at email@example.com.
